Save lives with workplace giving


Surf lifesavers rescue an average of 30 people every day. In a year, that leads to more than
11,000 lives saved.

We're on a mission to reduce preventable drowning deaths to zero. But as a charity, we need your help getting there. Workplace giving is a great way to get our volunteers the training and equipment they need to save lives. 

Not only do you get the feel-good boost of giving back to the community, but you also get the added bonus of saving on tax. It’s a win-win!

As you sit at your desk sending your 50th email for the day, or you’re running from one meeting to the next, you can be proud that while you work, you’re also helping to save lives by supporting Surf Life Saving. Whether it’s on or off the beach, volunteer surf lifesavers are there when Australians need them most thanks to supporters like you.

Every donation you make is deducted from your pre-tax wages, thereby reducing the amount of tax you pay. When you and your workplace choose to donate to Surf Life Saving via Workplace Giving, your donation is automatically deducted from your salary or wages, so there is no need to keep receipts to claim at the end of the financial year. It’s all done as part of your end of financial year income statement that is generated by your employer - another way that we make donating a smooth and easy process.
