Thousands of people are rescued and helped by our volunteer surf lifesavers every year.
Many of these people find themselves in trouble on the beach, but a surf lifesaver’s work extends far beyond the coastline. They are there in times of fires, floods, and even just day-to-day in the community, taking their lifesaving skills with them wherever they go.
