How to make the most of your donation this tax time
For the first time, the Surf Life Saving Foundation is hosting a matched giving period to kick off our 2022 Tax campaign, thanks to Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA)!
How does it work?
From Wednesday 1st of June, IUA will be generously matching your donations dollar-for-dollar up to $82,400.
How does my donation help?
Your donation (x2) goes towards helping repair, replace and replenish the vital equipment needed to help keep our beaches and community safer.
This means that for every $95 you donate, you are supplying TWO pairs of binoculars to our patrols and for every $120, TWO rescue tubes will be available for our surf lifesavers to use – the list goes on! Put simply, you’ll be seeing double!
What do I need to do?
Simply get in quick from the 1st of June and donate before Isuzu reach their matched giving amount of $82,400. We will handle the rest.
Will you help us double the impact of your donation?
Surf lifesavers often face challenging conditions, whether it’s on our shores or in a natural disaster, so it’s essential to have dependable and durable tools they can rely on. Your support enables us to have the right gear at the ready, whenever it is needed.
One of our most important tools is our surf rescue and patrol vehicles, which we equip with lifesaving rescue gear and equipment so that we can be ready to save a life at a moment’s notice. Thanks to IUA, our surf lifesavers across the country are patrolling beaches and within the community with a fleet of Isuzu D-MAX Utes and MU-X SUVs. Along with housing all of our lifesaving equipment, they also give us the ability to tow an Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) or a Rescue Water Craft (RWC) and carry a rescue board.
As you can imagine, all this equipment and the high level of training our surf lifesavers undertake does come at a cost – which is why we rely on generous donations from people like you to make this possible.

All online donations up to $250 made to the SLSMISSIONZERO fundraising page on The Surf Life Saving Foundation website confirmed by a donation receipt from 08.00am Australian Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, 1 June 2022 will be matched by Isuzu UTE Australia to a total capped sum of $AUD82,400. Matched donations will appear on the SLSMISSIONZERO fundraising page, daily. The Surf Life Saving Foundation will notify supporters via its Surf Life Saving Foundation Facebook page when the dollar match is reached. Thank you to all donors and to Isuzu UTE Australia.
