Surf Life Saving is one of Australia's most loved icons. Since 1907, our volunteer Surf Lifesavers have provided a vital charity service of beach safety to visitors to beaches across the country. From beach patrols, to rescue services and safety education –all share the common purpose of saving lives.
The Surf Life Saving Foundation (SLSF) is the body responsible for the financial feasibility of this formidable cause. It oversees the means to gain support from Australian communities, and to raise the much-needed funds to make our beaches a safe place for visitors from within Australia and from other shores.
